These holiday apartments in Tuscany are part of an estate situated in the Chianti Classico area, just 13 km from Siena, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, in a peaceful place far from the traffic and bustle. The origins of the Castle date back to 1070, but following the battles between Siena and Florence it had to be rebuilt various times. 20 self-catering accommodations have been created in three of the farmhouses, where the estate workers have lived since the Late Middle Ages. At 250 mt from the Castle, these holiday flats are situated around the swimming pool. Each apartment, typically furnished in the Tuscan farmhouse style, has its own private entrance and outdoor area whether they are on the ground or first floor. On the estate, guests have access to the restaurant, which serves delicious local dishes, and to the wine-tasting hall, where together with the wines one can also savour the vin santo and olive oil produced by the estate. On the grounds, besides the swimming pool (15x7 mt, open from May to October), there is a gazebo and a barbecue. This beautiful estate is in the heart of the Florentine hills. Located between Reggello and Figline Valdarno, these holiday accommodations are set within 300 hectares (over 740 acres) of land consisting mostly of woods and farmland. It is also a game reserve so it will be easy to meet various species of wild animals such as hares, pheasants and roe deer.
The estate has various buildings comprising holiday flats scattered on the property. A large common pool area features two swimming pools (open from May to the middle of Oct, 16x8 m, 140 cm h with salt-water and 12x6 m, 60 cm h) surrounded by deck chairs, sunbeds, garden parasols, and a small children’s area with sandbox and swing. All flats have a common laundry room and a large barbecue to share.
