Located on the hills of Cortona, the first written records of these buildings date back to the second half of the 18th Century when it was a farm producing extra-virgin olive oil, grain and the tobacco for the famous Tuscan cigars. The smaller building, now completely restored, was in fact once used for drying the tobacco leaves. Today, only the external walls and some parts of the interior remain of the original building, due to extensive restoration in the 1970’s.
