This superb apartment for rent in Florence is located in a quiet area within walking distance from thew train statione and from the well-known Piazza San Lorenzo. Crowded during the day, when both visitors and residents mix in the two markets of San Lorenzo (the outdoor market offers local handmade products, clothes and souvenirs while the older indoor market offers food products), at night the market stalls disappear and the Basilica of San Lorenzo with its famous Medici Chapel shines with majestic solemnity. The apartment of 1290 square feet (120 square meters) is on the first floor of a building without lift and can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people. The flat consists of a fully-equipped kitchen with American coffee machine, toaster oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and microwave oven, a sitting room with a small balcony overlooking an internal courtyard garden, 3 double bedrooms (which can be transformed into twin beds) each with en-suite bathrooms with shower. Also available to guests are a TV with DVD player, washing machine, hairdryer and fans for the summer.
This rental apartment in Tuscany is close to the main train and bus station as well as the main monuments and museums of Florence, with Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo and Baptistery, the Accademia Gallery with David's Michelangelo, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Medici Chapels and much more all at a 5-10 minute walk. On request and availability there is a private car park nearby which costs € 10/day. The flat can be reached by car only between 7:30pm – 7:30am since the apartment is within the controlled traffic zone of Florence's historic centre.
