Positioned on top of a hill, the cottage enjoys a breathtaking view over the typical Tuscan countryside of wheat fields, sunflowers, olive groves and cypresses. The house has recently been renovated in respect of the traditional rural style together with simple elegance and modern comforts. Furnished in very good taste, the cottage consists of a very bright living room, kitchen and comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms. Outside there is a porch for outdoor meals, a barbecue and a small private garden with a wonderful view over the countryside. The entrance of the holiday home faces the castle whereas the back has a spectacular view over the Chiana Valley towards the medieval town of Cortona. The accommodation is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a large dining room, a double living room with fireplace and upright piano, a fully equipped kitchen –including dishwasher and washing machine-, a study/bedroom and a bathroom. The living room, with a wonderful view, opens out onto a stone terrace, whereas the kitchen leads to a glass enclosed veranda. On the second floor there are 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
