On the hills overlooking the town of Massa and the coast, on the northern coast of Tuscany, there is a stunning location called “Ca di Cecco”. This place was of inspiration to a famous Italian-American painter, who used to spend his holidays here in Tuscany. Here, on the terrace of our house, many beautiful watercolours were painted, especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind Porto Venere (a picturesque village on the Ligurian coast) and the Palmaria Island.
Ca di Cecco’s origins date back to the Middle Ages. It is a very tiny hamlet crossed by just a footpath which leads to Pariana, at 150 m, another old village dating back to the 12th century; here one can find a restaurant (the “Polla di Tommaso”) and a typical village café , “Silvio’s” .
The nearest food shop is in San Carlo Terme (2 km), while supermarkets are in Massa at 4,5 km. For those who want to spend some time on the beach, Marina di Massa is at only 9,5 km. Excursions within 55 km to Pisa, Lucca and also to the Cinque Terre.
This semi-detached house, 75 sq. m., is on two floors. The entrance is on the upper ground floor; on the right there is a kitchen (oven, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher). The large living room (two sofas, of which one is a sofa bed for 1 person) with a large screen TV is an ideal place to relax, and from here you have access to a large terrace with a breathtaking view over Massa and the coast, barbecue. From the living room a staircase leads to the upper floor. Double bedroom, bathroom with shower, washing machine, and a bedroom with a bunk bed.
Internet Wi-Fi connection available. Pet not allowed. The car can be parked on the road at the entrance of the village.
