This holiday home in Tuscany is located on the Etruscan Coast, central Tuscany, at few km from the lovely beaches of Vada, near Cecina (18 km), and Castiglioncello (10 km). Rebuilt on the ruins of an alabaster factory on the outskirts of the town of Pomaia, this farmhouse can offer accommodation to 110 people in 27 apartments. A welcome present of local products is given to guests on arrival. Also available for guests are two swimming pools (open from May till September, one for adults 18x9 m and one for children 6x6 m), a large park with barbecue and garden furniture, a playground, a mini football field and also a bowling alley. At the reception one can buy local products.
In the heart of the splendid Tuscan countryside, these holiday apartments on the Etruscan Coast are in an ideal position for visiting many cultural and touristic attractions such as the Etruscan town of Populonia, the cypress tree road at Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci the hometown of the famous poet and the art centres of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo. Whereas a visit to the nearby wine farmhouses of Montescudaio Classico, Val di Cornia, Bolgheri, Solaia and Sassicaia will become a delightful – and tasteful – diversion to your holiday. Also nearby are the famous villages of Castellina Marittima and Santa Luce, which are built on the red rocks of galestro, a clayey schist used in the past as a construction material. The holiday farmhouse consists of 20 nicely furnished apartments on ground floor with living room and kitchen corner (4-gas fire, fridge), double bedroom, bathroom with shower, and private patio or terrace. There are a couple of studios for 3 people whereas the other apartments are for 4-5 people. Also available to clients are a Sat-TV room, a nice little room for tasting the homemade wine, a washing machine, a swimming pool, a playground, a tennis table and a large car park.
