This lovely villa with pool in Tuscany is located at 2km from the beautiful medieval village of Torrita di Siena, in the heart of Val di Chiana. Situated on a knoll, the 18th-century farmhouse was built on request by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Peter Leopold I. The estate is surrounded by its vineyards and olive groves and a beautiful, large park where visitors might catch a glimpse of local fauna, such as pheasants, roe deer, squirrels, crested porcupines and wild boars. This building has been owned by the same family for the last 300 years and carefully renovated. The farmhouse consists of 10 comfortable apartments, simply furnished, some with terracotta tile flooring and wooden beam ceilings. The flats are either on ground floor or first floor, all with private garden area for al fresco dining. The garden also houses a shared barbecue and swimming pool, whose deck enjoys a breathtaking view over Torrita di Siena and the surrounding countryside.
