Description

This stunning and elegant villa is located at 800 meter from Uzzano, a tiny medieval hamlet between Lucca and Pistoia. The village dates back to the 11th century and enjoys amazing views. In Uzzano there is a small food shop, and the nearest restaurants are at 1,5 km. Other shops and supermarkets are at 3-4 km.
The 19th-century villa is a country house set in a dominant position on the hillside and from its terraces and garden one can enjoy a breathtaking view over the territory up to Lucca as well as a view of the village of Montecarlo, famous for its excellent wines, sitting on the opposite hill. The house, surrounded by olive trees, pine trees and cypresses, is in a very quiet position, ideal for a relaxing holiday, and has a very large fenced garden, where there is a swimming pool (4x3 m, open May-Oct, 1,30 mt deep) and a 2 m Jacuzzi pool.
The house is divided in two sections. Entrance through an imposing remote controlled gate, to the car park and to a small part of the villa where the owner lives, a nice, old lady who won’t disturb your privacy unless you need information, assistance, or require a delicious homemade meal.
The other part of the house, with independent entrance, is ca. 600 sq m and can host up to 14 people. It faces the garden and the swimming pool, at exclusive use of our guests. At the entrance there is also a large covered terrace, for al-fresco dining, from which you can access the garden and swimming pool. The house is on two floors, plus an attic and a large roof terrace with stunning views.
Ground floor: entrance to a small living room, where the internet WI-FI is located, dining room, a toilet, fully equipped kitchen (6 gas stove, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine), and a wonderful large living room with windows opening onto the garden.
First floor: a large suite, with a corridor (where it is possible to put a bed), a double bedroom and a really large bathroom fitted with a bath with shower head and a large shower box. A corridor leads to the other part of the sleeping area. On the left there are a double bedroom (double sofa bed), 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom fitted with Jacuzzi shower, and a suite with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. A stair leads to the attic where there is a double bedroom and to the roof terrace with breathtaking views.
At guest’s disposal also hair dryers and ventilators.
Distances: Lucca is only 20 km away, and Pistoia 25 km. Florence and Pisa 50-55 km, Montecatini Terme and its thermal baths is at 9 km as well as it golf course (17 km). A horse riding school is at only 1 km. The seaside at 50km.
