This stunning and elegant villa, originally a medieval watchtower, is located in one of the most striking corners of Tuscany, the Maremma coast, at just 2,5 km from the village of Fonteblanda and its shops and restaurants (26 km from Grosseto and Porto Santo Stefano; 150 from Roma airport). The tower has been fully restored and spectacular panoramas can be enjoyed from its terraces, perfect for enjoying a lovely dinner or barbecue or even just a glass of wine while admiring the sunset over the sea, and from the swimming pool (6x4 m, open June-Sept) below. A pathway leads down to the sea shore and the villa’s private sun deck. This wonderful property is in such a romantically beautiful position that a 007 movie, Quantum of Solace, was filmed here. The views of the Tuscan coastline are absolutely superb, as is the scenery all around, with the clear blue sea and azure skies contrasting perfectly with lush green countryside, and lovely harbours, and fishing villages dotting the landscape.

The accommodation, 330sqm + annex, can host up to 12 people and is on three floors.
Ground Floor: on entering on the right hand side there is a little dining room with fireplace, and access to a double bedroom (convertible to a twin on req) with en-suite bathroom with shower, and to a double bedroom (convertible to a twin on req) with bathroom with bathtub and shower head. On the left, instead, there is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker (6 gas rings), oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine. On the same floor there is another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower.
First floor: Living room with dining table and chairs, settees, armchairs, fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player, a kitchenette with 2 ring hob and fridge, and a wonderfully furnished panoramic terrace with view all the way to the islands of Giglio and Montecristo (telescope available).
Watch tower wing: on two levels. Double bedroom with a fireplace and en-suite bathroom on the level above. From here there is access to a little terrace at the top of the tower.
The annex has a sitting room and 2 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom with shower, Air conditioning.
General facilities: Air conditioning in all the bedrooms except the tower’s bedroom, ceiling fans in bedrooms of the main villa, washer/dryer, barbeque, Wi-Fi Internet access in the main villa, fly screens, hairdryers in the bathrooms, and maid service 6 days a week with mid-week linen change, pool towels provided.
