Originally an 11th-century convent, the farmhouse, swathed in history, has been renovated into four charming ground floor apartments which still preserve a magical atmosphere. Each flat has its own private entrance and is tastefully furnished in the typical Tuscan style. Whether you are lazing by the pool (12x6 m, open May-Sept) or strolling in the olive grove or simply relaxing in your apartment, it’s a perfect vacation. At guest’s disposal also barbecues, wood-burning oven for baking pizzas, a washing machine, car park and internet Wi-Fi connection, The farmhouse produces excellent olive oil and you can taste it during your stay; also cooking lessons on request.
In the tiny village of Iano, within walking distance (1 min), there are a couple of restaurants, a minimarket and a post office. From Iano, daily excursions are easy to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena, all at 60 km. Certaldo and other stunning medieval villages in the surrounding are worth a visit.
