The name of Chianti Classico dates back to 13th century documents which recount the story of a man named Chianti who went to Florence to sell his wine. This area of 70000 hectares is full of ancient churches, striking farmhouses and marvellous castles all surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. This wine estate, which is right in the centre of Chianti Classico, was in 1440 the battlefield between Siena and Florence. This lovely old stone farmhouse consists in 5 apartments of different sizes, either on the ground or first floor, with private outdoor area or terrace. Swimming pool available. Pets accepted.
